What a dumb ass argument to make. Every great scorer who's ever played lived on the free throw line. Melo was top 5 in FTAs last year. Should I discredit him for that?

we're just talking about pure scoring ability. melo is a better all around scorer then KD. now KD is more efficient because he gets more screens to free him up so he will be more efficient. that = better coaching. there was a time when a MWP use to be able to bother kd. thats because his coach didnt realize vs stronger defenders KD needs to be ran off of screens. now the coach knows this so kd thrives off of it. KD has a better fg% because his team as a whole is a better fast breaking team then melo's. melo's team is more half court, iso driven. KD is quick hitter in the half court and run run run any other time. that means he gets 3's, mid range jumpers, and layups in transition more often then melo. kd is beating the defense down the floor which makes it easier for him to score at a higher efficiency rate. this is another reason jordan has such a high fg% over a guy like say kobe. they ran the same offense, but they ran it with different personnel. so they ran it differently. the bulls had many more transition buckets, quick hitter buckets then kobe had playing alongside shaq or gasol. cause pippen, ho grant/rodman, kukoc could RUN. . more so then shaq(big and not super fast), horry(old), fox(slow/older), Rice(old), gasol(slow), etc.

ESPN highlights? I hardly watch ESPN except for games. You know how many games Melo missed last year? Guess how many Durant missed. So according to you, Melo had a better year than Durant because had two sub par months at the end of it and was trash in the playoffs even though he out played Melo.

He did play worse after the all star break, it wasn't his numbers as much as how he was playing. There was a bunch of games where he wasn't playing aggressive enough in certain situations.
I just like how Melo won the scoring title by .6 points & somehow there is no debating he is better. Nevermind KD had won the 2 or 3 of the previous ones & everything Felton claimed Melo is better at is questionable outside of post play. Somehow KD's numbers are looked at weird because he gets to the line & him being efficient has nothing to do with anything.
