He's right of we're being honest but on the same token Carmelo is selfish and short sighted and had Mitchell asked him to adjust what position he plays or his role to come off the bench, Melo would balked.

Melo is wrong here and this is my dude but I watched him brick shot after shot ALL season. He literally never got into form once this season and just looked like a shell of his former self. How is it PG or Russ fault Melo not hitting open jumpers? I mean he got even got to play A LOT of ISO ball early in the season and half way through and was just slow, got blocked often, couldn't get any lift on his shot, got killed on the glass so no easy put backs.

He just looked awful all season and it had nothing to do with the offense. He is simply not the same player anymore. All he needed to do was to hit WIDE open 3's and even hit mid range shots from the elbow where he got the ball and he MISSED. He shouldn't have to have the offense run through him at this point in his career. He should be capable of playing off the ball and being the mid range shooter he's been his whole career. I don't know if he needs multiple shots to get into a rhythm and maybe that's what it is but that's still not an excuse for how terrible he shot all year, especially when there were so many games he had guys on him who he woudl absolutely destroy 3-4 years ago. Slow, big PF's and undersized SFs were food for Melo but he couldn't get past anyone and he couldn't jump anymore. It was just disgusting to watch him all year

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
OKC = poorly coached team and Westbrook who is lazy on defense and has extremely poor shot selection.

He can score 50 points all he wants but taking 50 shots doesn’t cut it!

The OKC team should be coached to learn how to share the ball!

Spot on

He missed so many spot ups that were just there waiting..

Think about if you gave Klay Thompson the opportunities melo had this year... It would have been mad greasy

Let’s not act like PG wasn’t complete ass too after All-Star break, save a few games.
