Yeah I guess he can shoot them, but not as consistent or as effective. And his low post for a guy his size is down right putrid. He's no where near the level of Dirk, Melo, or Paul Pierce in his prime

IMO if his post game was more potent, he would have been in the Finals competing against Lebron

His high post is good, IMO I wouldn't say it was all that elite. Durant to me lacks patience and consistency to be elite. When the going got rough in that Warriors series, he was shooting straight jumpshots, whether it was 3pt or long jumpers.

I've seen Melo get forced do things as well don't really mean much. KD flourishes in more aspects of offense. Better slasher because of superior length, speed, ability to contort body, vertical. Better at drawing and converting free throws. Better three point and midrange shooter with great triple threat and high post game. Better off-ball player, better transition player, better and more willing passer, better crossover.

Melo can't finish over defenses. KD is slim and has arms for days all advantages for getting calls. How does Melo convert better than a 90% FT shooter? They have made rules to keep KD off the FT line (elimination of swipe through method). How is this advantage Melo.

KD uses the triple threat he's just a lot more decisive with it. Melo has a more triple threat oriented game I didn't say KD's was better but rather he has it in his game. He'll catch the ball on the elbow back to the basket, turn, swing ball over his head and hit you with a quick stepback.

Durant knows what the high post is he's not a good low post player. Durant has one of the best high post fades in the league, Dirk one-footers, he's been near the top in points in the post for several years.

Melo has a tighter handle but I said crossover. KD's double cross, and long sweeping crossover is ridiculous. Melo ain't putting nikkas on their ass or making 'em stumble like KD, he's not blowing by nikkas like KD.

KD isn't just a better finisher, he's a WAY better finisher. At the cup as far as wings go it's LeBron and Durant those guys have finished at a 70-80% at the rim in their careers. Melo is a below average finisher, 54% at the rim last season that's awful below league average and especially trash for a scorer. The man dunked 19 times all year dude is trash juice in the paint.

The two best off-ball players are Steph and Durant. Lmao at Melo being better. KD literally won a scoring title being assisted on nearly 50% of his shots. KD is a better spot up shooter, cutter, and leaks out in transition. He is a much better off-ball player than Melo. KD is a sloppier passer but at the end of the day he's more willing and knows how to read doubles which is why he has 5 assist per game seasons under his belt and more triple doubles than Melo.

Nikkas is wilding. Melo sucks in the paint and he's supposed to be the best pure scorer in basketball? How Sway? Dude doesn't have the accolades to be the best scorer in the A and certainly don't look like it now.
