playing PF in the olympics against those soft euro's sans the gasol brothers and Ibaka is nothing like playing PF in the nba facing brusiers like i mentioned before.
In 2013 Melo pretty much exclusively played PF. He defended PFs all year long. And there are very few bruisers in the league.
This is what happens when owners don't build championship TEAMS wihen they get franchise players via the draft and those players get ran through the mud like its all their fault when the team doesn't win.
You can't blame them for bossing up to form a bomb squad to win championships and change the game. Karl Malone & Gary Payton saw the light before they retired and tried.
Kevin Garnett & Ray Allen saw the light before they retire
Ask yourself this, if Charles Barkely & Pat Ewing could come back even though they say they wouldn't admit it, they WOULD TRY IT TOO.

Meanwhile, Florida has the weather, no state income tax and 3 dudes that are his friends and are on the road to titles. He'd automatically become the number 2 there, winning cures all and the media backlash at first would be on him teaming up this that, but if they won a title that goes out the window. Fam i get it, i really do. I'm not mad at them for planning this and taking their future into consideration but chicago is one piece away. Maybe he would be more satisfied winning in chicago than miami. The narrative would be "miami won 2 titles and went to the finals 3 straight years before losing to indiana in 7" did they really need you there, vs Melo was the missing piece and with a healthy rose the bulls win the title for the first time since 98"

It's going to come down to Houston, Chicago and Miami, he has 3 close friends in Miami, if they can offer him the money he will be there. Don't you find it kind of odd that the Heat have all this potential caproom for this summer?
Ray Allen left money on the table in Boston to be there, fans may view them one way, but it's the top destination in the NBA.
