Coli logic

Only role players are allowed to leave their team in free agency. And if a star player does it, he HAS to go to a team that doesn't have another top 100 player on it.
walk away from millions of dollars and potential championships because a bunch of flabby nikkas on a message board said so brehs :mjlol:

I see the :flabbynsick:'s in here rewriting history again. You don't win championships by yourself. You need all the help you can get :childplease:
Your favorite basketball players had hall of famers on their team and y'all always seem to forget :martin:

It's not Coli logic, it's a NBA train of thought that has its pros and cons. Why do you think many super teams weren't made until players got old and wanted to latch on a team to win a ring to satisfy or bolster their legacy? Players took pride in winning as the star of their teams, but when it didn't happen they took the Karl Malone, GP, Charles Barkley,Mitch Richmond, and Alonzo Mourning route, by joining great teams very late in their career. But even then it's not a super team because those players were Holmes status playing 20minutes a game, if that.

Depends on how you want to define super team.

Because you can count on one hand the amount of teams that have won titles without multiple HOF players in their prime on the team or at least still playing at an elite level

Lakers had Magic, Worthy & Kareem in their primes. Celtics had Bird, McHale, Parish & DJ. Pistons had Zeke, Dumars & Rodman. Spurs had Duncan, Parker & Manu. Sixers had Dr J, Moses & Mo Cheeks. And the list goes on.

Those are "superteams".

Absolutely correct, however, the argument for some up here is that ALL if not MOST of those teams came together naturally through drafts and trades, unlike what Melo is saying. No one is wrong, it's all in preference and choice.

Who gives a damn how they were created? You get the same result. There is no right or wrong way to build a team.

And Melo is saying what 100% other players feel. Everybody wants to play with other great players.

Dudes just want to whine; "superteams" are fine as long as the GM/Management are responsible for bringing them together. :mjpls:

Obviously some people give a damn how it's created, that's why there's a debate. Melo doesn't speak for 100% of the players, he speaks to your opinion. Some people want to stay and build their own team into prominence, we can't knock them for that. Like I said before, no one is wrong, it's all preference breh.

No, Melo speaks for all players when he says he want to play with other great players. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive as fukk.

You see what's happening to AD and Mitch Richmond and what happned to Lebron .... Not every one got a kupceck in fukking LA or did some underhanded stuff getting bird ..... If magic got drafted by that horrible bulls team would he have 5 titles?
