Meltzer empties the clip on smarks chanting "YOU DESERVE IT"

There's only been two times where the "You Still got it" chants were deserved, that was when Steamboat had that match at Wrestlemania against Jericho and when Rock had his first match back at Survivor Series.

Both of those guys had been away from the ring for a long time, both looked to be in great shape for their age, and both were moving crisp in the ring and didn't really show signs of ring rust.

The other "You still got it" chants seem to be for guys that have only been away for a few months (Taker) or have been gone for a long time and suck in the ring (Sting, Shane).

You just know they're going to do a "You Still got it" chant for Angle like he hasn't been consistently wrestling since he left WWE and has been one of the top workers in the world for over a decade.

They still acting like wrestling is real. Its not. Wrestling is fake and everyone is in on the joke now.



This is not the 60s and 70s anymore, especially with the multitude of options in sports and competition and especially REAL combat sports like Boxing and UFC having major presence, it makes the WWE look second rate if you are looking at it as real combat. The fans are more into the show/entertainment side and they know titles are not earned, they are awarded via booking committees and management decisions. The WWE doesn't even give the title to the top draws OR top workers, so there is no tangible merit to deciding who is the best. Did Roman Reigns deserve to be a 4 time champion this early in his career? Did Dean Ambrose deserve a title reign at all? Did Cena deserve to be a 16 time champion in half the time Ric Flair did it in?

Got a lot of respect for Meltzer, but his viewpoint of the title and audience is a little outdated.
