Why would touring make it lose its edge? Not recording shows on tour. We're talking house shows, not recording episodes from different places.

Oh, fair enough... sorry totally misunderstood.:whoa:

I guess if they can do it profitably it makes sense... depends on the business model. I'm not an expert on WCW, but I'm sure I've heard Bischoff say that house shows were one of the first things he started to wind down because they were losing the organisation money even though everyone thought they were "necessary".

The other angle is that LU athletes get a BREAK to recover, freshen storylines and get the audience anticipation up. Sent them round the world week in week out and the edge might suffer too.

Unless it's contracts, I really don't see how a company as small as LU is losing that much money that they are in jeopardy. Like others have said, they could probably film a whole season in less than like two weeks. I will say though, they could use some advertising, because outside of WWE, its easily they most watchable wrestling show to actually follow. I'm not counting like AAA or Japan because I THINK most american people just watch their matches and not follow storylines from those places. LU did what TNA tried to do, which is be the un-wwe yet still be wrestling and easy to get into.

My limited experience in the film world was that these movie and tv muthafukkas love to spend more money than they have to

Each one hour show of LU costs around $1M to produce. WWE tapings are less than that. That's how they're losing money.

And even Dave Meltzer's reporting indicates the show will have content filmed to run through the Summer of 2017 when they wrap up their scheduled shoots in May of this year. So even if a rumored movie or more seasons never happen, we've got lots of Temple business coming our way.
