:usure: First of all, this is from Meltzer so we don't even know if the contract amount is true.

Second, I know that it's a character. Just like Triple H talking about Booker T's nappy hair and saying that guys like him were just for entertainment and not World Championship material was him playing a character too. :mjpls:
For $1.4 million in cash delivered to your living room, every year, would you let Triple H talk about your nappy hair?

It's like if there was a black promotion on the rise

And Big E threw the title in the bushes to play D'von's long lost gay son

How could you live with yourself :wow:

You coming out to "I Will Survive," neck rolling in your bye felicia promos :skip:

Your pops watching you :shaq: on Hornswoggle like I have failed

Meanwhile you could have been in a room full of nikkas holding up the belt like :jawalrus:

For some reason I don't think Big E would ever turn down the opportunity to be in a room surrounded by n#kkas

Not sure why you keep mentioning storylines when the current Zeb Coulter storyline has nothing to do with how much he was offered.

And the answer would be no. Del Rio was already making six figures easily on the indy circuit.

But regardless of how I feel, the WWE came to Del Rio and needed him more than he needed them.

I'm asking what you would do. Trips is at the door with 1.4 million in cash but you gotta let him say you have nappy hair. Watcha gonna do?

All that money for a guy who STILL isn't over. :mjlol:

Pretty much.

People bytch about Del Rio's booking, but even though shyt got increasingly worse as time went by - and by his last year it was fukking horrible - they tend to forget that dude was the most protected heel for 2-3 years. Dude constantly got clean wins on TV (something you barely see from a heel on WWE unless it's a "monster") and won feuds.

At the end of the day, for whatever reason, he never connected with the US audience like they wanted him to. It was Ricardo who carried his reactions when he was getting good heat. And once WWE decided to fukk him over - like they do every single dude on their roster - by making him go solo, it all went downhill...including the way the booked him.

I hope he can turn things around this time because he's very good in the ring, but WWE forcing a push because they want a latin star is a risky move.

At least Del Rio has on his favor that most of the roster injured or not very over so he can use this 3 months before the Rumble to gain some momentum while WWE still pushes him as an important deal.

Dude sounded like he was miserable in his shoot interview during his final days there before the incident even happened. I remember the sheets were saying dude was just gonna let his contract expire & walk similar to what Punk was going to do in 2011. I guess they gave him $1.4 million reasons to be miserable again tho :skip:
