What baffles me...

...is how come when anyone else cuts a promo, it's viewed as a promo. Nothing more, nothing less, no matter how badly it portrays the other guy. But when HHH cuts a promo, it's seen as an evil-spirited, 100% genuine shoot from deep inside the heart of a hateful man on a quest to destroy the other guy's career?!

It's just hilarious to me. And the funniest thing is that I saw it coming a mile away. I knew that when this D-Bryan storyline started, the internet reaction to HHH's involvement was gonna be like Booker T and CM Punk combined... and true to form, I have not been let down.

I do think a lot of that promo was a lil' over the top... but let's not forget it's a heel and a storyline about a guy that they don't want to become champion cause they don't feel he's cut out to be the #1 man. Anyone who's smart should know where this is going without having to worry about what some promo means to Bryan's entire career, like anyone's gonna give a shyt when he finally gets the big win and officially has his run with the title.

And even if it was a shoot and HHH 'felt very passionately about what he said', i'm sure they still wouldn't care. Why would they? They've made their money already. If the endgame of this is HHH tapping out to Bryan (which it should be), it'll be beautiful. An @sshole heel getting his comeuppance. If not, i'll not lose any sleep. Bryan is so talented, his momentum won't be completely derailed, just like Punk's wasn't when the Kevin Nash angle went nowhere.

when i started watching wrestling again in 08/09 i vividly remember Edge with a never-ending push to the sky where he always had the big gold around his waist..no matter how he was at that point..

i know thats the B belt, but thats still above the IC and all the other titles. Smackdown(and Raw at times) revolved around Edge and his lackluster running hug.

You really can not blame edge.
His run and his body were collateral damage.
for how poorly the talent was handled administratively.
After cripple ache ruined the boom period, satisying his ego.
