Yes he covers MMA. That's what I'm saying yall don't even know what you're discussing. It's ok to hate but do it factually.
Where does he cover MMA?

SAS and Skip do zero writing but are not journalists. Meltzer writes 12 articles a year about MMA and spends 98% of his time being bad about covering wrestling. Like I said it's a distinction wjtout a difference imo. I know Dave does other writing I don't think writing for sbnation makes him a journalist and makes up for all the wrestling garbage he puts out. I was one of the last Dave defenders on here but the AEW shyt broke his brain.

Your perception is not reality. At first it was he not. Now he's not in the ways you define it. Alot of goalpost moving in here when I know you didn't know he did the work he already has. And again I think he's trash outside of his historical pieces. But this is circular and I'm not here to convince of something you refuse to understand. He has been an idiot and water carrier for AEW in the worst ways. That we can agree on

Meltzer at one time used to get all the backstage news from WWF/WWE. Even up to a year or two ago he'd have all the information on who would be revealed as a surprise or who was facing who at the next PPV and even who was going over.

But I don't think he has sources anymore. He don't know shyt. SRS has more sources now but even he gets shyt wrong all the time.
I agree with you.

I remember Meltzer breaking WWE news all the time. Wasn’t Jericho one of his main sources?

I don’t ever read Meltzer breaking anything big from WWE anymore… for me I always see PWinsider

Now it’s just meltzers opinions on what might happen in wwe and people take it to heart

Star ratings are ehhh I never really got into them. That said, The Rock vs. Hogan isn't a great match. It's a spectacle that's helped by the atmosphere. None of that matters because often times entertainment is going to outsell straight wrestling, that's the nature of the business. That's why it's dumb to sit around and grade match by match when they can be completely different forms of entertainment.

Also, that street fight was just ok... pretty standard fair for that type of match. Hangman vs. Swerve is way more memorable.

I don't even get the hype of that death match, even beyond that retarded blood spot, it was just a standard modern gore fest going from one weapon to another with no flow or rhythm.

It didn't feel like a fight, just two guys going out of their way to shock the crowd spot after spot

Not really, there was more struggle spots, strikes and transitional moves than your average street fight.

“The show also saw a gruesome match with Swerve Strickland vs. Adam Page, which was both a match of the year candidate and among the best Texas death matches in history.

It was at the same time something you’d be embarrassed to show family and friends and brought up some booking questions as well.”

:hula:

That match was the least embarrassing thing you could show friends and family regarding a wrestling product.

shyt I actually watched it with a friend who doesn’t know anything about AEW and he loved it.

Now they gonna come up with a gazillion stories about how it came about and marks will pay for 'em

Plus you know that Punk disinformation campaign about to run again.

"We're hearing there's a lot of discontent in the WWE locker room now...morale is very low"

Probably all coming from that fat slob Jericho :mjlol:
