Melvin Gordon is basically a bigger Jamaal Charles

Gordon is the most explosive back I've seen since Reggie was at USC in '05. The way he eats up angles that a defender (most of the time a DB) has is once-in-a-decade type shyt. He's not as smooth a runner or as dynamic with his cuts and he's nowhere near the pass-catcher, but he's more powerful and his leg drive is and the physicality he runs with is more NFL-ready for feature back status. He's sort of a mix bewteen AP (upright slasher with power and speed) and Reggie (the acceleration and initial burst)...and while I'm not saying he's better than those two were I think he has all the tools to be the best back in the league one day.

This guy knows what he's talking about.

I will derail this thread no further but let's not compare the browns draft to the Redskins draft that year. That will go down as one of the worst drafts in history for you guys
