Beans was nasty on that...a real lyrical street rapper. Philly street rap in general was hard and they had an era where they ran hip hop on the low in terms of style and influence but I never seen em get their props

Oh yeah Made had joints but If I recall dear summer a Jay solo was the best song :dead:

I heard this joint either on a mixtape or on some website back in '03. That song definitely lived up to the title because it warranted several repeats. When I heard it, I don't think the Jay verse was on it. Still, Beans and Memph went in. When the album dropped, I liked the song even more because the Jay verse was added and the beat just plays out.

M.A.D.E. was a nice album though. The first seven or eight songs were all nice especially "Round Here" through "Hypnotic".

smooth beat but I always thought they kinda mailed it in on the verses, didn't have the usual power of usual Roc collabos involving Jay/Beans and Just Blaze on the beats...
