The Katt Williams interview was lightning in a bottle the likes we’ll NEVER see again. I’m glad Shannon seems to understand that and hasn’t tried to replicate it. He just goes about interviewing who he wants as he should. You’ll never catch a fire like the Katt Williams bomb again and i’m lowkey shocked that people think he ever could. Its like an NBA player scoring 80+ points in a game. Thats not something you expect them to replicate, your just happy they pulled it off that one time and you appreciate how rare it is. Hell Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Allen Iverson, some of the most celebrated scorers in league history, never scored 70 points in a single game. In the podcasting world you have Stephen A Smith, Million Dollars Worth Of Game, Cam Newton’s podcast, Joe Budden, etc. contemporaries of Shannon who have NEVER scored a singular interview that did the numbers and had as much long lasting impact as the Kat Williams clip.
Word. Them type of moments are damn. Damn near impossible to manufacture. They come naturally

I don't know. You could make a strong argument that Bleek and Yayo have been his least relevant non-athlete interviews.

Edit: Nah, I completely forgot he interviewed Mendeecees before.
What About many of the comedians?

Nobody will say who? To Bleek and Yayo of his listeners, but everyone said who to half of those comedians.

He’s obviously aiming for diversity.

Good point. He just had Yayo on the last time.

That's a strong falloff from Katt Williams bringing in 70 million views and whatnot though. STRONG falloff.
How can you fall off from the biggest interview on the internet?

That was an anomaly, not the norm. It’s like saying if you have 10 albums all but one selling 10 million each but the 3rd one sold thriller numbers. Did the artist fall off after that one?
