How often do ya'll genuinely compliment strangers? And how do you take it when a stranger compliments you?:so:


I think these days people always think someone is trying to holla from a compliment.

I only give compliments WHEN I MEAN IT regardless of the situation

I give genuine compliments quite a bit, but haven't done it in a while.

But the thing I hate the most is when you compliment a chick and they say no they don't.

Like bytch, I'm not going back and forth with you. If I complement you, don't ever tell me no. Just say thank you and move on.

I rarely get compliments to be honest.. I just get asked if I'm married

But then being as that I'm in jacksonville and everybody dresses like they in a cash money video circa 98, I do get compliments on my attire occasionally

I compliment strangers quite a bit, more-so women than men though. If I see something I like, I tell the person. I notice it still catches people of guard at times though.

As of recently, I get compliments mostly on my hair. I say thank you, smile, and keep it moving.

Females that have boosted egos..tend not to get legit compliments. They tend to get lied to for the potential of some type of gain. Not the same.

fukk is up with that. nikkas/bytches really tryna go back and forth over a damn compliment.

That shyt don't make no gotdamn sense. Just say "Thank You" you move on. It ain't that hard to do.

I give compliments often.. and they're not "just cause" either. I've never dealt with compliments well, but I just smile and say thank you when I do get them.

I generally only give compliments to chicks I wanna bone and people I want money/job from..

But when I'm I compliment people alot...

I be on some happy sh!t and I want other to be happy and compliments are the easiest way to make people you don't know happy.

If I see a chick wearing a cute dress, some bad ass shoes, a nice bag, etc. I have no problem complimenting her. Same goes with men if he has on a nice tie or smells good I'll tell him. It take nothing to give a compliment so why not?

The only way to receive a compliment as a confident person is to smile and say thank you, or thanks. Trying to play yourself down after you get complimented is kind of annoying.

women @ work usually (several times a week) compliment how I dress and/or smell..I just say thanks and keep it moving and try a lil small talk or look out for them so I can return the compliment @ a future time
