Despite the loss there was some positives. Cam Heyward was disruptive at LDE and the D played great(without troy). If they could only solve the backup qb problem while ben is out :snoop:

Can someone explain why Batch didn't go in? I mean, is he that :flabbynsick: or am I missing something? Leftwich could barely throw at the end of the game.

Oh and, it's a shame all the injuries. I feel like this is a damn good team if healthy. Maybe we limp to the playoffs with enough of the roster to have a go at it?

Ben Roethlisberger to try to play in Steelers-Ravens - NFL.com

Roethlisberger has missed two straight games with a rare rib and shoulder injury, but hopes to play in Sunday's second and final regular-season meeting with the Ravens.

"I'm going to try," Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Sunday. "It's killing me to watch."

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reportedBig Ben will start soft-tossing the ball early this week to examine his range of motion and work through the pain, according to team sources. Mortensen stated doctors have determined Roethlisberger's rib has healed to the point where further damage isn't a risk

I don't see any way we win the North but getting Ben(and Antonio Brown) back for the rematch and stretch run would be huge. Watching Leftwich injure himself falling and seeing dust coming from Batch's arm is:snoop:

Depth chart released for Ravens game.....

Mendenhall officially demoted to 3rd string. Dwyer to start, Redman stays at 2

Antonio Brown as starter at wr with Mike Wallace OR Emmanuel Sanders on the other side

Tomlin is lighting up the fire! Wallace can't be serious about wanting some big time money with the way he's been playing. This is a contract year for Mendy, I believe it will be his last with us.

The Young Money trio has been making made mistakes the past few weeks smh.

Our secondary is a major thorn right now, the dude Victorian was getting picked on all day. That has to be at the top, if not thee very top, of what needs to be addressed this offseason. I'm not sold on Keenan Lewis either.

Like I said in the game thread, they do not deserve a nickname anymore. Too many mental mistakes, too many untimely drops. Strictly Antonio Brown/Emmanuel Sanders/Mike Wallace at this point. Ben's throw was behind the receiver. Our pass rush is trash. I don't expect Ike back next week. If Lewis AND Allen are out next week this season is a wrap

I liked how Ike/Lewis/Allen were starting to look.....then of course they get injured.:snoop:

I didn't expect much from Victorian. He's an UDFA getting his 1st NFL start. Dallas targeted him like they should have. If only we did things like that.
We waste too many plays trying to "impose our will"

I see no difference between Troy this year and Will Allen:wow:

Harrison gives 100% every down. He's no longer 07-10 levels but I have no issues with him. Woodey on the other hand:guilty: He needs to lose some weight and train those hamstrings this off-season

We've simply got a dumb football team :manny:

I agree and Sanders is really irking me with the "injuries" after he makes a big mistake. Can't tell if it's legit or not. The fumble by Brown on that punt, that could have been the drive to put the game away. I say let Rainey handle special teams duty.

No pass rush, Woodley has been an afterthought. Our only consistent player has been Heath. Dwyer is not our long-term answer. And speaking of our RBs, I'm not too opposed to bringing Mendy back for the right price. He has fumbled in some key games, but he does not have a huge - huge fumbling problem. Since 2008, AD has nearly twice as many fumbles as Mendy & he's still our most talented back.

Hood isn't Aaron Smith
Foote needs replaced
Woodley is a fat cat who takes time to "heat up"....problem is he keeps getting injured
Troy has been pedestrian since returning

Mendy is our best back, but I feel too much has transpired and they won't bring him back

We fired our special teams coach for what?

A lot of fat still needs trimmed off this team. Either from our o-linemen's wastes or from guys who simply aren't worth the money anymore
