Maybe not, but i have known plenty of women who's ego's are inflated by the thought. So they taking it as one regardless.

After a certain age, being "sexually desirable" stops being as important as it once was.
Young women want to be desired, sexually. Because they're young and don't really have much else to offer.
As women age, they stop wanting to be desired (as much) and start wanting to be cherished.
