If your generalization is based on shyt you see on the internet Vs actual hard numbers that’s a completely different thing which is what
Many on this site do.

Do you know how many threads I’ve seen on here generalizing black women where that has never been my experience?
So you're saying most women don't want a man to provide a traditional household?

or are you saying you're not sure what the average woman wants... you only know what you've experienced?

after you answer... I'll lookup the studies to see if the poster who made the generalization was right or wrong with his generalization...

if he was right... just apologize to him...

Did you miss the “in my experience” hence it’s anecdotal not a generalization. I figured that would let you know I’m just saying when I’ve dated women this has been my experience. Didn’t mean to generalize fam and I hope no one took it that way

But I appreciate you calling it out if you thought it was me being hypocritical
You generalized the brehs in here, not women. Your anecdotes may be what they are but others' anecdotal observations or experiences not lining up with yours doesn't mean all men rely on TV dinners and live in filth without a woman.

The fact of the matter is the inconsistency in expectations of gender roles is a macro-level phenomenon that influences micro-level relationships. Women are also not necessarily bound to stay the same. The limited time of dating that allowed your variety doesn't speak to what many of them may want/expect in year 3, 5, 10+ of marriage.

My wife wouldn't let me do SHYT in the house unless it involved fixing something or getting something from high shelves. I learned early on not to tell her if I did something above taking out the trash to avoid offending her.

In her words: That stuff was her job.

:francis:

You was the bytch in the relationship stop lying you senile old bytch :mjlol:

Nah a lot ya'll just weak.
It's like you never learned respect and submissiveness must be earned. Being born with a dikk doesn't entitle you to that.

90% of women will give you those things if you can demonstrate that you deserve them. Don't let these combatative ladies on the internet make you think otherwise.

Is your income high enough to allow a woman to be a stay at home wife/mom where she only has to worry about running a household ?

Because most men make below 70k and that is not enough.
Nah I'm single I clean up after myself and run my own household. But your point is valid it would be wrong for me to ask for a stay at home wife without bring home a stay at home paycheck

I generalize TLR men because in my experience TLR men tend to be men who are inexperienced in real life and most of their opinions seem to be coming from the internet. They keep affirming that shyt with threads like this. This isn’t a generalization of all men but just this forum, and many would say that’s a pretty accurate depiction of this forum and men posting on it

We can agree to disagree on that. Dudes just need to get out and interact mind you if you really wanna read some wild shyt peep the shyt I was posting on here 8-9 years ago. You’d assume it was a completely different person. Wasn’t much different then what a lot of people post on here now and then I got out in this world and worked on myself.

I talk about this shyt like this because I use to be there too

Pumping her own gas while you sit in the passenger seat

Ohhh shyt that sounds like something a man should ie a gender role.... do notice how no one pops off about that though.

Jackass

If I had a daughter and she was in a relationship with a man and I ever saw her doing any one of those things i listed while I'd tell her to dump him.

It's a two way street but you I was raised by a single momma and see her do it all ass nikkas don't seem to understand this roles in a relationship

It’s 2023, most households have two working th adults, you want the old days when a woman did all the cooking a cleaning, then you better be breaded up to afford to foot the bills for the entire household solo so your wife can stay home and play merry homemaker, if that’s not on the table, then both of y’all can split the household work the same as you split financials
