Sounds like a habit developed from growing up in poverty. I had a friend and a coworker that used to eat fast and huddled over their plate because they grew up in an environment where it was a race to get seconds

Unrelated but triggered by this thread: I was at a house party and someone bought a box of KFC. I was in the midst of a conversation in another room. When I finished I went to get some chicken but it was gone . My friend baby mom ate like 75% of the box by her self in like 15-20 min. Like she openly admitted to it on some "you better get in here when the food come" shyt
