say my girl cheats on me. if i catch her and confront her about it she'l likely gonna argue with me over it and its gonna be my fault she did it in her eyes. she'll look at me and go you weren't pleasing me or i wasn't there for her or whatever. what she'll almost never do is go "yes i did it and i was wrong i apologize. i'm sorry i hurt you."
to me that's self deception because my actions didn't force her to do what she did. she had options and chose what she wanted. in her mind though she doesn't perceive the choice. its almost as if as soon as it was made it got deleted.
