Yeah, he really didn't give Sam a choice. If he didn't squeeze, ol' boy would have never paid up and the wolves would have began to circle. He did squeeze. Caught the body. Got the rep. But had to keep defending and street shyt eventually lead to his death. His son faced the same situation and ended up the same way. This is a hood classic, but it really is about how difficult it is to break generational curses. Cain had spirituality:grandparents/black empowerment and athletics:friends/a regretful father figure:purnell/love:roni/ least a high school education and the streets still took him.
