Actually I realized I haven't been clear in the terms I'm using. I'm not mad at women being feminists (and thus logically I'm not mad at men being "meninists"). What I might be "mad" at is feminists saying they work on gender issues, since "gender" implies both male and female, while they only focus on women issues.

It's like if I said I'm against racism, but only focus on racism against Blacks. Nope, I'm against ALL FORMS of racism. That's why I don't say I'm a feminist, but rather anti-sexist. Like I'm not "Blackist", but anti-racism.

I understand exactly where you coming from.

My train of thinking is like this: I feel it's a bit dishonest for oneself to try and co-opt the philosophy or movement of those who have already set a core belief on an end goal that they put greater attention to a singular objective . I say dishonest because while they are criticizing the aforementioned parties of being negligent of the greater cause, they themselves could put in place what they feel is a greater infrastructure to further fulfil the primary object.

Yeah I can understand how it could be perceived that way, especially given, as I said in a previous post, who is voicing these opinions, and how they're doing it. I think it will change in due time as certain people (in Sweden, also researchers in UK I think) are starting to seriously look into the issues specific to the boys/men, especially in education.

Can we just call feminism, mcwwr (middle class white women rights); and call it a day?
