That is true but they use that same "make yourself a victim and shift the focus" tactic that white supremacists do.

The only topics that I can cosign them on are the double standards of sexual assault (i.e. the female teachers fooling around with their students), domestic violence, and child custody obstacles for men.

The MRA movement probably got lumped in this because of his prominent feelings of entitlement along with his white supremacist beliefs.

Like MRAs, this sect of feminists exists pretty much on the internet. Also, rape culture isn't a movement, it's a concept that has existed since the 1970s. There's a documentary called 'Rape Culture' made in 1975 that marked the first time the term was used in its widely accepted sense. It interviewed a variety of people: men, women, rapists, survivors, prisoners, etc and it can be pretty helpful in understanding the concept.

Warren Farrell has said a lot of shyt in the past, shyt that's kinda hard to take back. Stuff like his remarks on incest. I think some feminists (far from the majority) are weary of men coming in because there's been instances of guys who have, in the past, been preaching the best intentions but then it turns out that they've been playing everyone all along. Again though I feel like mainstream liberal feminism is very accepting of men, unless you've made indefensible statements on date rape and incest.

It isn't something that just "exists on the internet" especially when a dozen or so
can plan in advance to protest a meet. Clearly this more ugly form of feminism is
very real and exists on places like Tumblr, Youtube and Twitter.
I've even got a friend whose kind of bought into it

Most of the people on this website who refer to feminism in disgust are typically
talking about this kind of feminism. It's practically analogous to the MRAs at this point.

can plan in advance to protest a meet. Clearly this more ugly form of feminism is
very real and exists on places like Tumblr, Youtube and Twitter.

Absolutely. There are some crazy ones out there. I read a few weeks ago where one of these new feminists thinkS that all penetration is rape, consent or not. She was Basically advocating switching over to a lesbian lifestyle. Batshyt insane.

Yeah from what I've seen perusing the internet, both
camps house a group of people that take it to the extreme.

There are the pick up guys and then the further a person goes,
they'll eventually run into "Incels" or involuntary celibates and hard core
MRAs or as mentioned in this thread people who even hate pick up, who
typically are the more hardcore MRA types.

The same goes for Feminism, there are normal people but the
further one goes they'll eventually run into the fabled "Feminazi".
The sorta woman who goes on man hating rants, that claims society
hates women and even says that the average person suffers
from "internalized misogyny".

I think one group is definitely more realized though and that's the
feminists, because I've yet to hear about MRAs taking their stuff
off of the internet. While with feminists we've got videos
of them protesting where they're cursing and screaming at attendees,
calling people rapists for having a different point of view etc.

types advocate severing contact with the opposite sex voluntarily.
Whether that's being a lesbian OR committing to a lifestyle
with voluntary celibacy.

Kinda missed what I was ultimately trying to say. It's that
I think these extremists and their views tend to bubble to the surface,
altering the discussion and drawing in like minded individuals or even
influencing young people, both men and women alike furthering
these toxic view points.

It takes a certain type of loser mentality to think you can control a woman. A woman isn't to be controlled they must choose and it's to you to make the choice easy. The problem with today's society is that too much has been shown to a bunch of lames and they think they deserve the same lifestyle. Men will always have their rights until they choose to throw them away. Being disgruntled and destructive does nothing to further your situation. The problem is we have these feminized boys out here who don't understand what it takes to be a man in the modern world. They want recognition and fame. Being a man is not about that shyt. So until all the weak boys die off from natural selection we are just going to have to raise our sons correctly and teach them to shrug off these lames of the gene pool.

How influential do you think a "dozen or so" non-notable people are, really? People are always going to focus on the most vocal, most radical aspect of a group and that's what's used to delegitimize many movements. With stuff like tumblr etc you also gotta keep in mind that many of those people are socially awkward teenagers looking for an outlet and that outlet rarely extends beyond the internet.
