Mental models (or systems, models, or schemas) are important in helping us navigate life and all the games we come across, and having a wide variety of models across different disciplines helps us make connections and make good decisions and assessments. But often here in HL and definitely in TLR there is a tendency for intuition, anecdote, and emotion to serve as the foundation for judgment and perspective. And this often leads to muddled conversations and shallow analysis. Thus, I wanted to make a thread on the most prominent mental models across several disciplines to not only shore up the conversations here in HL but also help us in our daily lives.
