Largely due to the fact that he was brought up by (presumably) white parents. Everybody has the same source of information about everything but we all come up with different conclusions because of our personalities and the environment we were surrounded with. He seems like the type of dude that was brainwashed from the start and has no hope of realizing it. This is because he was never given a prideful identity of his heritage due to his circumstance
