Mention Jazz, folks think about Coltrane, Miles, Hancock, etc., what about Horace Silver though?

Thread will probably go double wood, but if you're an old school jazz head into hard bop, I think you need to be on to Horace Silver.

same as hiphop mention it they say drake, kendikk, cardi , nicki etc. you have to appreciate real music to dig jazz especially artist like you mentioned that aren't the token artist. too many jazz greats to name

hate those folks. what about "Sorcerer"??? no love for max roach ??? i love jazz and am usually chill about jazz opinions, but i hate when basic people proclaim kind of blue as the best jazz album ever. maybe its just me.
