Mercedes-Benz valued at half of BMW (12/17/2012)

Truth. I copped an E92 earlier this year and I have been satisfied with it. Despite the well known issues with the motor (haven't experienced them yet)


From recent reviews though it seems that BMW is going in a different direction with their sport sedans. If you want something that feels like an E9X or E46. It'll probably have to have an M badge.

I reserve judgment until I see what they're offering with the 4 though.

The E46 M3 is even til this day. I was very close to getting one in late '08 but the state of the economy prevented me from getting one. The new 4 series is so gorgeous.

The A4 is a sedan while the 4-series BMW is a coupe.
Same with the A5... It's a coupe, while the BMW 5 is a sedan.

Now they have F30(sedan) 3 series and F32(Coupe) Which is now the 4

You said they were trying to match the A4 / A5 nomenclature, so I assumed you were talking about the 4 and 5 series, respectively.
