Try taking your foot off the gas. Took me till damn near age 25 to realize that constantly driving 80+ on the freeway and gunning my car on city streets does a great job at wasting gas.
Cars are actually more fuel efficient on the highway. You'll save more gas doing 80 on the highway than driving around at the speed limit in the city.

if you wanna drive a benz, your gotta have expendable cash. everything costs big money to get done. that's something you should be concerned with BEFORE you drive off the lot. not after. it's too late then. gotta cop them run flat tires for $600 a piece and fill the tank every other day with that premium gas...etc.

shiiid, i drive a VW now, and it ain't that much cheaper for maintenance than a benz. i guess ALL german (european) cars are expensive to maintain and operate

I get that, but you'll save more gas going 65-70 than 80+ on the highway. Also, see where I said "gunning my car" on city streets. Taking off like an idiot at green lights doesn't help matters at all.

Leasing is stupid, but I'd probably only lease some of these vehicles. Your maintenance will be included throughout the entire term of the lease. Only gotcha will be tires, basically.

Yessir....that was like when I first copped my car knowing that it was gonna need premium gas. yeah it cost more to fuel, but if I cannot afford an extra $5 per fill up, I should probably be looking at a different type of car.
