We don't allow people to wear masks when they are taking their drivers license pictures, or entering many public places, so this should apply to them as well.

:childplease: i guarantee they wouldnt. thats the issue. otherwise why wear it at all?

if a male cop sees her skin, the honor and modesty is ruined or whatever the fukk they believe :beli::mjlol:

Islam teaches that you must follow the laws of the nation you live in.

Most States and Canada force you to show your face for ID purposes when taking pictures

MUSLIMS HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS because obviously it's for national security purposes. (except people like this who are unreasonable http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/2970514.stm)

In a public place you should be able to do whatever the fukk you want. In Canada people are out here in Balaclava's, should that be illegal?? :mjlol:

The Islamophobia is rampant in the US, I'm glad I don't live in a shythole like you guys

More people should engage in politics so 'no party gets to run against Muslim Canadians,' Trudeau says :blessed::blessed::blessed:

:rudy: where the fukk is that in the quran :laff:

Here you go fakkit

4:59 => O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you.

By definition, if there is a constitution and a set of law prevailing where you reside, you are obliged to follow and obey it. Because Law is the authority.

Not too far off from one of my favorites, 4:34

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

Because Islam is a religion for all times, not just Muhammad's times. Muslims and non-Muslims will probably live amongst each other for the rest of our days, so there is guidance on how to live in peace. Muslims that move from their own countries understand that they need to adopt the laws of whatever land they go to. Muslims have been living in the USA since the 40s, if the 2 weren't compatible it would be apparent by now.

Yeah that's fair, if that's how you feel that's how you feel. You have the same attitude as the white supremacist cacs that elected trump, I'm not even surprised :yeshrug:

A burqa is a non specific body covering. A niqab is a face covering that only leaves the eyes. Banning the niqab itself is already nonsense because we get into the business of outlawing clothing, but a burqa ban is even more insane because what does or doesn't constitute a burqa is open to interpretation.

so what if i said that you have the same attitude as the Saudi religious police who watched girls burn inside a school because they couldn't leave the building without being properly covered?

2002 Mecca girls' school fire - Wikipedia

this custom is rooted in patriarchy and oppression of women. i do not, and will never respect it. sorry breh :yeshrug:

Most muslims don't fukk with the saudis, they're corrupt as shyt and are in no way a model muslim society

And they are actually infringing on women's human rights, which Islam teaches you to respect e.g. forcing the Burqa, not allowing women to drive, etc. etc.

So you guys would prefer a European style freedoms or do you think the First Amendment is better? Would you be willing to support a Niqab ban in the US or do you think it's protected under the First Amendment?
i dont even support a ban on burqas. i think they should be free to wear them here

i just have zero respect for the custom. it represents oppression and misogyny all over the world, whether or not dudes want to pretend otherwise. yeah, some women choose to wear it. and just as many women wear it out of fear :scusthov:

the fact that these fukkin apologists cant even admit that is disgusting

It's about principles. When you start banning clothes because they're this or that, when does it end? It doesn't end and you end up like, ironically, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
