Naw, the bosses weren’t as fun as in MGS. And they went from cool to weirdos, they had a fat guy in roller skates hiding bombs. I don’t even remember the bosses names in that game.

5 is my favorite gameplay, and 3 is my favorite story. 2 is a super banger tho.
2 was where I really got into the series (only played the demo of MGS1 at the time) , so I’m glad I didn’t gaf about the switch. Plus I was young as hell

It was the same thing. It just expounds on the “why”. It also increased the scope of the series. 3 gave us a modernized foundation to that expansion 4 capped it off and 5 filled in some blanks. I love them all equally, endings be damned.
okay I can admit 5’s ending threw me off because I was drinking and thought I deleted my save file or something. I still enjoyed the game though.
