Metal Gear Solid 4 Appreciation Thread

Metal Gear Solid 4 should have closed out the series. I see they're still making these things. its kinda disappointing in a way cause to me 4 wrapped it up. I still remember when that game came out to this day i've never played a video game so obsessively. i had it damn near beat in a day and a half just couldn't stop playing.

its still one of the most memorable experiences i ever had in gaming. i wish i could erase the plot from my mind and play through it again like it was the first time.

3 was my all time favorite of the series but the hype for 4 was That game convinced me to buy a PS3

Too much money involved to end it. Sad we'll never get the proper closing to these games. I wont be surprised if they announced Mass Effect 4.

MGS3 and MGS4 are my favs. It more than made up for having to watch Raiden in MGS2 run around naked for 10 minutes doing kartwheels and kick flips.

MGS4 is overrated compared to it's predecessors... sad for a Metal gear stan how i can pop in any metal gear and have fun but 4 never gets any play from me unless its MGO.

Story was incredible and the gameplay as well. The replay value is low though. Too many cut scenes and not enough playing the game.

they deleted it from the game after you install the Trophy patch

but yeah, I liked it. Just picked it up again since they added trophies but I havent gotten around to playing it yet.

My thoughts exactly. I tried to do a 2nd playthrough on it and realized there really wasnt shyt to play. I spent more time mashing X to try and skip through movies.

great game but the beauty and the beast parts were forced and terrible, drebin

if i blot that out the game wasnt bad at all, easily better than 2, but not sniffing 3 or 1 imo

just got up to that part where Raiden and Vamp duke it out





Visiting the story is also nice.........if ur constantly pressing x to skip the cutscenes then maybe u shouldn't be playing the game at all......


the story is what makes the game great
