Never played or even seen twin snakes…:: is that a remake of metal gear one ?
It was a gamecube exclusive remake of Metal Gear Solid.
Received a lot of criticism for drastically changing the overall tone of the game with some weird new cutscene choices and the addition of being able to shoot in first person mode. The graphics improvement was very welcome but overall the game didn't "feel" like metal gear solid.

Anybody got an idea of how to kill these Skulls that crash the helicopter after you get Code Talker?

:stopitslime:Mannnnn put Portable Ops on this shyt, especially since Ghost Babel is on it. Konami is treating Portable Ops like how Rocksteady has been treating Arkham Origins. Even if you don’t like Portable Ops, just having all of the Metal Gears available on modern consoles is cool. The Portable Ops disrespect needs to stop. That game gave us Calling to the Night.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was an amazing experience but not such a good game. The first two levels were great then they tried all these gimmicks and it just got weird. I might attempt to play it again but really I knew when I beat it the original time I wouldn’t likely play it again. The plot was a bunch of wild retcons mixing up ideas that they never planed to be a cohesive plot.

:russ:Kojima originally wanted to move on from the MG series after 2. Until he got multiple death threats and played it safe with 3. And while MGS3 was celebrated, fans still wanted a real sequel to 2. So he gave us MGS4 which unnecessarily explained everything, had crazy retcons, a dying old Solid Snake, mid boss fights other than the fight against Liquid & Ray, levels that peaked in the first 2 chapters, characters being horribly written, and long ass cutscenes.

:mjlol:I still have love for the game tho. The OST, online, unlockables, PSN downloads, gameplay, fan service, and overall highs were great. It felt more like a MG game than 5. Even though 5 had the better gameplay. 4’s highs were better and more memorable than 5’s highs.
