A lot of it is gonna depend on how they write Snake, I think. I just hope they don't try to make him like Poe and have him trying to be overly funny. Not who Snake is.

Oscar Isaac is a solid pick (pun intended). Can't say he gets me as excited anymore as he did when he was on that hot streak around 2013/2014 but the man has chops so I think he can do it justice. If the writing will do him any justice though, that is the question.

I don’t see him as Solid Snake and I wasn’t a huge fan of him in Star Wars. I hope they pull it off though. When it comes to weird actor placement I always remind myself that I would have never thought Heath Ledger would pull off the joker the way he did.
