I thought the second disk was needed to play the game I guess it makes since it’s added content , I didn’t know how a 2 disk fighting game would work

Yeah it was pretty much 2 different versions of the game with different features.
It wasn't like you needed one to play the other or anything like that.
It was kind of like giving you Street Fighter and Super Street Fighter Turbo in the same physical packaging.
