After seeing Ocelot in MGS3 I'd prolly have to say him, that backstory makes all the other games so much better.
I played the stories in chronological order as it relates to the plot though.

Well, technically, she was a good guy. She was a bad bytch though
I was just about to say the same thing. I wouldn't consider her a villain at all. She basically took the L for the greater good. The idea was "Someone has to take the blame for all of this." Which is also exactly what I think will happen with Big Boss at the end of MGSTPP

By bad I meant bad characters. I thoroughly enjoyed Vamp. Would've loved to see a Vamp and Volgin team up.

even Vamp is kinda awesome. (voice by the gawd Phil LaMaar no less)
its always good to have some pseudo-sexual undertones to a villian, because creepiness is often tied to deviant sexuality.
