Nah, they already admitted all the shyt on RTL was Dave's shyt, and when they brought Kirk in, his shyt was solid but it wasn't up to snuff.
We you look at Peace Sells and Killing is my business, there is no competition, not to mention their 90s run where they embarassed Metallica consistantly up to Risk. Then came back with The system has failed.

Metallica has the better songs bruh. Dave didn't write every single track on rtl, my understanding is he wrote 4,5 for kill em all, couple on rtl and maybe one on mop. he's a great artist tho, but for me, Metallica has the overall better songs in the 80s. but it's not like it's 100-0, it's a very close competition, megadeth is right there, I love their music too.

I'm not saying Metallica is trash, its just to me, body of work and content wise Megadeth blows them out of the water in terms of music and technical skill on top of quality and quanity of tracks.

Metallica has 2 solid albums for me and after that they are done, megadeth has albums top to bottom from the 80s to 2000s of quality music in comparison

Well I'm not a big fan of and justice for all, but kill em all, rtl, puppets and black album, for me are all classic records. as a vocalist , hetfield is the key to their success, lars is actually a weak drummer and if cliff didnt die, they would've been more solid on justice for all and their subsequent releases. It's like Nas vs Jay with those two bands tho in many circles , I'm no metal know it all tho, but I would like to think I know a good metal track when I hear it.

And that last Megadeth record, dystopia, is pretty dope. the new Metallica isn't bad either, I just haven't had time to really listen to it.

Atlas Rise is the best record in that album. It's perfect. I'm still disappointed in the whole album though. That second disc has some of the worst music they've ever written. Spit Out the Bone is the shyt though.
