Rappers do this more than you think. Cam did it in the last Dipset freestyle; hell, Ghostface was straight reading off the paper in his Stretch and Bob freestyle.
Personally, I never really cared if they do it or not. Some nikkas need a refresher if they just wrote they're shyt. As long as the flow still proper, than it's straight to me.

For mer personaly meth gets a pass cus he might have not know black thought would be there and freestyle with him. He probably was gonna phone it in but when he realised he had to sit next to thought he felt he needed a newly written verse that he knew could match thoughts bars.
