The saga of the Wu-Tang Clan and Drake collaboration continues. After Drake leaked his Shaolin-inspired single "Wu-Tang Forever" off his third LP Nothing Was The Same last month, the World Wide Web went wild, even stirring up mixed reactions from the hip-hop group themselves.

Shortly after, U-God revealed to VIBE exclusively that a remix to the record, which samples the Clan's "It's Yourz," with all members had been laid down on wax. However, Method Man tells a different narrative.

"Before the song even came out, we heard it and Drake wanted us to get on the remix," Meth told VIBE during Comic Con in New York. "We were overseas and time was of the essence. We got off-stage at about 3 in the morning, went into the studio about 4. I didn't like my verse so I took it off. Everybody was tired so the song was done, not with everyone, but it was just not of the standards in my opinion."

While MTV News has confirmed that U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna have recorded their verses, those from Raekwon, Deck, RZA, GZA, Ghostface Killah and now, Meth are still TBD.

As far as the song's name, Method Man agrees with his fellow Wu member Inspectah Deck (and majority of the Twitterverse) that the title deserved a second look.

"I mean Drake is a dope artist. I knew where he was going with it," he said. "He just shouldn't have called it "Wu-Tang Forever." He could've called it anything else 'cause there's just one little reference in there but it's nice that someone pays homage but like I said, I like the dude. I respect him."

But if he didn't call it Wu Tang Forever there wouldn't be no remix with all you Wu Tang members and most people wouldn't even have the slightest clue these mufukkas still exist. A whole new generation is about to be exposed to the Wu cause of this song and this remix they about to do.

If any of them got a problem with what Drake did then simple don't do the remix with him.

Clan are the realest group of nikkas with the biggest bytch tendencies of all time..
I couldn't imagine being close to those dudes in the 90s, 1 minute it's all trill talk the next they're probably bytching cause someone had 2 seconds more on a song.

The song isn't that big, there several songs on the album which would have a bigger call for a remix.

See, whether you a fan of Drake or Wu, the song or whatever, Meth is right on this one. What a random title to the song. A nice tribute from Drake, but unfortunately it didn't come out as it should...
