you sure dodged that question. i ask again. do you have a man-crush or are you a stone cold fakkit?

and the fact remains, you came in here with the sole purpose of hoppin on my top. you and that other weirdo. neither of you even addressed the actual topic. if i was the OP, i would be pissed at you fakkits for derailing the thread.

and this is regular chit for you dudes. yall do this all the time. youve been doing it for YEARS and the other cat is an alias. hes prolly been at it even longer than you. hell, you might be the same person.

and this is all yall are gonna get from me for a while. i only acknowledge you L7s a few times a year.

F*CKIN FREAK(S).
You upping my 3 month old thread to call me a twerp like Peter Brady still gets me :pachaha:

The streets fukked wit jada more then:

meth
Rea
ghost
prodigy

and even nas to a degree...after nastradamus a lot of cats fell back..he came back for a minute wit stillmatic thou..this based off of what i witnessed, not my personal feelings btw..cuz nas is my fav living rapper.

the top 3 east coast rappers that got shown the most love overall in the streets was:

Jay
cam
jada
You comparing two different eras. Nobody was getting more love in the street than the Wu and the Mobb in the mid to late 90s. Jay didn't really start getting that love until around 2000 and same thing with Jada. You gotta remember cats were still salty about the shiny suits they wore in the Jiggy video for a minute

Breh, I don't know what you're gauging that from because Wu as a group was a street movement. Around 93-96/97 Wu got as much love from the streets as any hip hop act that I can remember. At least in NY. Their street movement was bigger than the Lox's and Dipset's. Not saying those movements weren't big, but not at the level of Wu's.

I guess it just depends on where you from..

Cuz even thou im a fan of wu and mobb deep, i rarely heard them getting play or getting talked about in the streets like that..like the beans vs jada shyt was legendary in the hood.

Everybody fukked wit jada..i never heard a nikka speak bad about'em or say he was wack..mobb & wu was considered more of a backpack type of group in general..but the wu did get shown way more love in the streets compared to mobb deep thou

The Mobb was the exact opposite of that backpack rap back then. They took thugging to a new level. Its sad tho cuz I think Jada could been top 10 all time if he had better solo albums

I'm not even from NY but even here in Miami the Wu had a large following. Nobody down here were really feeling Jada like that. Wu nikkas were international, every where you went it was Wu heads.

Jada had the lyrics but not the charisma to be far reaching.
Wu tho? them nikkas were fukking gods to real hip hop heads

I will say it's closer than what I originally thought when I read this title...

Meth has a lot of diversity in flows, and has a lot of different people he worked with...
But jada always had the hardest bars....

Meth got the most recognizable verse from Triumph....

But Jada (and Styles) had soooo many damn mixtapes that it's hard to even question putting Meth higher.. I mean dudes killed the mixtape game for like FIFTEEN YEARS breh......

And I'mma go one step further and say if im about to blow it down, im choose jadakiss over method man 8/10 times

Wu and Mobb gets respect and love from whites, backpack dudes, AND street n!ggas. Jada and the Lox get love all across the board also but to a much lesser extent than them. This whole Wu only gets love from cacs and asian sh!t is fallacy that people started running with on the internet.

True i dont agree that they ONLY get love from cacs & asians..but i do think the majority of their fan base consist of those types..especially the Wu

The majority of mobb fans i would say
are on the east coast

I don't like to put much stock in the Grammys but that the highest form of critical praise you can receive

very contradictory statement.

if you dont put much stock into the grammys, then how is it the highest form of critical praise?

You gotta remember in the mid 2000s ATL was on top by a mile. TI, Jeezy, Lil Jon and all those snap dudes ran rap at the time. Than you had Houston which was hot and Miami was coming up. NY was an afterthought those years.

As far as Meth goes dude might give you 3-4 different flows in one verse. As nice as Jada is he cant do that

you mean the same way that most of the bigger acts of the mid-late '90s were from california, ohio & lousianna? and im talking real movements. not that snap & crunk novelty radio stuff.

mid-00s east coast rappers were more popular across the board than mid-90s east coast rappers breh. the offer is still on the table. we can still go artist-for-artist and compare.

The Mobb was the exact opposite of that backpack rap back then. They took thugging to a new level. Its sad tho cuz I think Jada could been top 10 all time if he had better solo albums

i think what @keon is trying to say is that wutang & mobb had the backpack appeal & following - which translates into hype & critical acclaim from journalists & such.

as opposed to acts like dblock & dipset who are geared soley towards the streets & urban crowds and dont reasonate with the backpacks & hippity-hoppity cats.

cause meth still had a good career and always was the top dog of wu. meths career went much smoother than jadas.

I never not once in the past 15 years said, ya know what... im checking for jada more than anyone right now... that time in 97 waiting for T2 was torture. Jada never got me like that period. And for all the praise dude gets his whole career, he and the lox in particular dont have the really memorable shyt like wu did. Always had solid to great mixtapes but I saw meth/rae/ghost/rza on another level to guys like the lox and can honestly say Method Man is still nice and dropping great verses. Meth with ASAP song > Jada with whomever hes with in 2015, lil white kids or whatever

meth wasnt top dog of the wu. he was more like the top mascot, with ol d b at #2.

that song with ASAP is boring, just like the majority of method man's catalog.

you waited 4 years for the follow-up of a dissappointing album?:patrice:you must really love the wu.

To keep it fair, why don't we just do Deck & Jada - The case of the disappointing careers. That would be hella even
