Why isn't meth big homie status like Jay and Nas?

He just hasn’t had the success in his solo career that they have had. Jay got to his status among other things, by churning out hit after hit for several straight summers. Consistently on the radio from like ‘96 a ‘02. And then another stretch later. Nas has arguably the greatest hip hop album ever in Illmatic. Meth doesn’t have anywhere near that consistency or that one huge album.

I don't disagree with what you said but if he said the same story with John the taxi driver it doesn't really have the same impact.

Nothing wrong with showing some humility and I believe the point of his story wasn't to publicly apologies to destiny child but to say he was so caught up in himself at one point that's how he acted and he has tried to improve himself
