It's kinda unfair because Metro (and Southside) fathered a lot of this current shyt...but there's dudes on Souncloud and YouTube now doing Metro beats better than Metro.

Metro fell off last year. Dude has become extremely hit or miss, and most of his shyt sounds repetitive and stale as hell.

He’s been gone for a year but prior to that dropped some dud collaboration projects (especially the one with Nav), has barely worked with his best collaborators (future, thug, travis), and the few beats of his that did come out were . I don’t see how that’s a terrible assessment in today’s social media generation where you have to consistently drop

i dunno what yall talkin about, it doesnt even feel like hes been gone. like, that string of collaborative projects were less than a yr ago, not to mention he was touring as a solo act. if anything im sure he choose to take some time off, his name is still buzzing to point he could get a placement w/ just about any artist in rap or rnb.
