Last yr. 31% of Kobe's crunch time shots came w/ less than 5 seconds left on the shot clock. LeBron 20%. Durant 14%. Melo 11%.
"When Kobe was left open, he shot 51.3 percent, which ranked 11th of the 113 players with at least 75 unguarded catch-and-shoot jumpers last season."
" Coming off screens he shot 46.2 percent. On handoffs he shot 50 percent. On cut plays he shot 54.2 percent."
Dwight is going to set those solid screens since he's more agile than Bynum. Not to mention Kobe won't have to work as hard with Nash running the point. God willing see y'all in June

The reason that it won't happen has nothing to do with Kobe NOT being Jordan.
It won happen because the Bulls were a one of a kind team who was well balanced from top to bottom (ownership, coaching and players). On the floor they had the GOAT coach with the GOAT offense (triangle) who had the GOAT defensive trio (Rodman, Pippen and Jordan), a slew of big bodies whose jobs were to only defend, rebound and foul. They had great/excellent spot up shooters of all sizes. They had a team of players who accepted their roles and stayed in their lanes. They had a certain togetherness ON COURT that was special and hasn't been duplicated since. Once again they had Jordan, Pippen and Rodman....the top defenders at their positions (arguably or not) in the history of the game. Defense is main reason why the Bulls have that record. The Lakers don't have the majority of the things I listed, so therefore they won't get the record. Never mind that the Bulls were in their PHYSICAL/MENTAL primes.
