A Mexican illegal immigrant has been accused of raping a seven-year-old girl and giving her genital herpes.

Huber Morales, 24, was charged with five felony sex crimes, including child molesting, on Friday in Indiana.

Morales allegedly admitted to touching the young girl inappropriately three times and having sex with her on two occasions.

The alleged victim told police that Morales touched her genitals 'a lot of times'.

Authorities started investigating after the little girl was taken to hospital earlier this month where she was treated for genital herpes.

The girl allegedly told a nurse that Morales was her attacker.
