Aren't these the same guys who got Tyga cancelled?
I'm finna rep you in a second for remembering this! :laff:

YES, they got Tyga's song/video removed from Power 106 due to hispanic sterotypes. That's how the clip was discovered. Then Tyga went on an air apologized. THEN some No Jumper interviews, Tariq followers started protesting for Tyga who is JAMAICAN/VIETNAMESE in the name of "FBA", the Hispanics doubled back to No Jumper trying to look for Tariq, and suddenly "Whats up family?! I'm just out here chillin in Hawaii.... Nyehh??"

@Bunchy Carter why would you resurface this?
@Tair what are the next steps?

That Tyga situation pissed me off because the music video wasn't even offensive. They managed to convince so many Hispanics that it was offensive and play into the victim mentality.

1) They took a page out of Fox News's playbook and convinced Latinos they were victims.
2) They crafted a narrative where the black man is the bad guy (Tyga)
3) They managed to humble said black man (got him to apologize and DELETE a whole music video)

Making a music video requires a considerable amount of time and monetary investment to make. Not to mention the hundreds of people involved in the production of said video. Many of which were Latinos (if the concept of the video was really offensive they could have said something or walk off the job)

Black Self-Sufficiency
Cause the loud anti-Black ones are in social media talking shyt. Rest assured, the Latino allies are out in the streets protesting and working with Black and Brown organizations. Especially in California where I live. Hell, I say the majority of anti-ICE protestors in LA are not Trump supporters and support Black Lives Matter and Palestine etc. I volunteer for a left-wing organization and there's Mexicans in the organization that protested for Black Lives Matter since Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. Don't believe the media hype.
Wait, so you did not see that post that shows who supports reparations for Black Americans or are you just avoiding it to continue your argument?

Its all coming back now. The song was called ¡Ay Caramba! and he was dancing in sombreros. I think he put on some kinda Mexican body suit too. It was legit brazen and out of pocket :mjlol:

The crazier part is the dude who spearheaded it isn't even Mexican himself. He's Honduran I think. And OP's clip surfaced AFTER Tyga's apology (had that out of order earlier) Which left to "FBA" supporters protesting outside the station cause Jamaicain/Vietnamese Tyga pulled his song and apologized.

And NONE of us would remember without OP :laff:

They pulled up looking for Tariq and he went to Hawaii.

Tyga's video:

It's whatever. I'm not the type to easily get offended, but some people are. The video is filled with stereotypes here and there, but who cares?

I would say imagine the obviously Mexican-inspired things here, being replaced by obviously black or obviously Asian things, and if it would still be considered potentially offensive or not?

These are two random guys on a podcast. I went to college with Mexicans who support Black American reparations. Especially after taking African-American history/studies. There's an entire subsection of college-educated left-wing Latinos that support Black causes and other leftist beliefs.
