It's chilling to see a hurricane can get this strong.

It's still not as big as Typhoon Tip its stronger but Typhoon tip was huge

Sheesh. The worst storms, earthquakes, and tsunamis always hit 3rd world countries. Why is that?

They have the worst infrastructure to deal with it, weaker buildings, poorer people who can't get away, so storms do the most damage to them. You can just about look at the number of people killed and know right off the bat it didn't happen in the US; except rare cases like Katrina.

North-South gap.
Countries closer to the equator tend to have exploitable resources, alongside malaria.
Cacs didn't stand a chance in these countries so exploited the local populations or imported enslaved Africans to those countries. Once chattel slavery "ended" these countries were held in neocolonial, extractive systems.
Most of the countries are in areas with heavy tropical storms and hurricanes, alongside warm climates.
