Doom was a very popular rapper when he was alive. Nikkas keep trying to gatekeep him when they haven't had the power to do so for a very long time

DOOM was very popular with only a small subset of people back in the day. Very niche. When I ever mentioned him, not once had that person heard of him before. Since he passed there have been a number of times I have mentioned him and people have at least heard his name before. I’ve been on holiday and seen little kids walking around with his name on their t-shirt. His Spotify monthly listeners has gone from 1 million to 8.3 million, His popularity has increased exponentially since he passed. It’s been extremely noticeable for someone like myself.
