Egon been doing shyt like this for a long time. Go look at his IG, it's full of posts of him buying catalogs from desperate and destitute artists who made obscure music. Most of whom are black jazz artists. He writes them a check and gets control of all the music, to sell to (predominantly white) collectors who marvel at all the rare shyt he has. And sure I get these artists are in bad spots and the money helps a lot but...it doesn't sit right with me. Feels exploitive, especially given that it's a one off purchase. There are no royalties here.

So let's be reality: he was gonna sell that notebook. Not right away but like 5-10 years from now.
