I believe it's the sequel to peace walker. Big Boss didn't meet Paz until the beginning of peace walker.

It's low key the best metal gear game. The cqc is way better you get to build up your own base and squad. You capture enemy soldiers and prisoners of war then assign them among the combat unit, in charge of fighting, the mess hall team, in charge of preparing food for the whole base, the medical unit, in charge of keeping everybody healthy, the r&d department, in charge of developing new weapons, or the intel tem which gives you information on enemies. I heard you can build your own metal gear too.

I just bought the MGS HD Collection yesterday. I'm going through MGS3 after never actually finishing it the first time and I'll graduate to Peace Walker in a bit. I hear Peace Walker actually has crouch walking so I wish I was playing it already smfh.

Trying to play through all the Big Boss games so I can get an idea of what the hell is going on, but looks like I can't play Portable Ops. The fukk was they doing leaving that game out of the Collection

I know bruh I'm going through peace walker now. I'm shocked they didn't put ops in the collection. I never played it so I'm just watched the video movie of it

Portable Ops got left out because Kojima didn't write any of it...just produced/sanctioned it. Here is a timeline of the series tho:

Looks like there's not going to be many gaps in the story after MGSV comes out. Unless they do a MGS that covers the stories of the OG Metal Gear 1 & 2

they need to just to turn those two into 1 game a 3d remake

im not sure why they havent even thought to do that..but i have a feeling if they do that there will be more plot holes
