i used to visit this forum devoted to fukkery and it would sometimes spotlight the antics of a group known as TFL

accordig to these men,,
society had conspired to make them undesirable
which meant they couldn't get the woman they deserved
(because apparently women are chattel and not human beings with their own thoughts)

ultimately one was revealed to have used his ex-wife as a punchign bag
another had attempted to molest his 10 year old sister
and the othr had been until recently a practicing homosexual

because there is a grand canyon's worth of difference between saying..
man, i'm profoundly unhappy about my efforts to find a girlfriend/wife
so i'm gonna focus on my education/career/finances/fitness for 1-2 years
then see what happens

and saying..
these women are scum,
so i'm gonna hang out in chatroom 6 hrs a day

I don't mess with the actual movement, but the premise is fine with me.

If it was socially well adjusted dudes that chose to focus on careers/interesting hobbies/community service/business instead of chasing chicks, but still open to deal with an attractive woman showing cooperation, then it would make sense.

But it ends up manifesting into socially inept guys that have no lives and hate women.

I agree with the concept of not judging a man on his "success" with women, but I also think it's lame to completely give up on women as well. If you are tired of the rat race, just focus on self, and pick and choose your spots if the opportunities arise.
