That'd be mad weird right? Like yeah we don't condone 8 lives being lost but the people actually wronged got wiped out by the hundreds...the normal response isn't to feel bad for "both sides."
That's basically what's happening right now. People are so terrified of fukking their money up and losing fans that they're riding the fence, so they end up coming off sounding crazy cowardly and insensitive towards the oppressed.
It's wild and I haven't thought of a better way to put it

That "killing women and babies" narrative doesn't move me. How is it any different than this quote from Khalid Muhammad about South Africa:
Nat Turner did the same thing during his rebellion. Revolutionaries aren't moral creatures now, and haven't been throughout history. Their main concern is overthrowing a system they deem oppressive and inflicting pain on the people who rule it. Rape, mutilation, assassinations, assault often come with that. Yeah, it's messed up, but that's why you don't let a situation get so chaotic that revolution is necessary.
