Miami Dolphins to pay for Booker T. Washington’s championship rings

Booker T. Washington High School’s football team - the 2013 High School Football National Champions - will be honored on Wednesday by the Miami-Dade Commission and the Miami Dolphins.
The Tornadoes, who finished the season 14-0 and captured the Class 4A Football State Championship, will honored at commission chambers at 9 a.m. at the Stephen P. Clark Building, 111 NW First St.
At the ceremony, Miami Dolphins President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Garfinkel will present Booker T. Washington with a check to pay for the school’s football team’s 2013 National Championship rings.
Joining Garfinkle will be local football greats: Nat Moore , Senior Vice President and Miami Dolphin Honor Roll wide receiver and Larry Little, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Dolphins guard and Booker T. Washington graduate.
The public is invited to attend.
